The Vision

To cultivate a world where women—especially women veterans and those who defy traditional gender roles—are embraced, empowered, and equipped to thrive personally and professionally.

We envision a culture rooted in reciprocity, opportunity, and genuine acceptance, where every woman can define her own balance between home, work, and identity without apology or limitation.

The Mission

The Strength and Sparkle (SaS) Foundation curates, collaborates, and champions initiatives that center girls, women and especially women veterans—uplifting their confidence, creativity, and sense of community. Through our signature programs—including the SMILE Project, ChariTEA events at local nonprofits and children’s hospitals, and support of What’s Poppin’ USA’s annual Hats N Heels Tea Party™—we create meaningful engagement opportunities that inspire, empower, and leave a little sparkle behind wherever we serve.

SMILE Project

We love our ChariTEAs

During the Spring and Fall, we bring the Tea Party to local Children's Hospitals and nonprofits in and around Metro Atlanta. Our themed ChariTEA Parties provide patients and their families with our patent pending SerendipiTEA DIY fascinator Kits, along with fun tea-time props for on-site dress-up fun and snacks (we bring assorted juice boxes, plain cookies or cupcakes and of course, icing and sprinkles to decorate!)

For those a distance from Metro Atlanta or that prefer to do their own thing, we package the fascinator kits together in batches of 20 to send out to community-based organizations for them to host their own event.

We love to see smiles. As part of our SMILE project, each SerendipiTEA Fascinator Kit purchased is matched 1 for 1. One Kit purchased is one Kit donated for a SerendipiTEA Party. The more you buy or donate, the more we can make the SMILEs happen.

Holiday Cheer from the Heart

The Holidays have always been special to Lena—born just after Christmas on December 29th, she remembers all too well what it felt like to get the dreaded “combo gift.” So now, through the Strength & Sparkle Foundation, she’s making sure others feel seen and celebrated with a little extra magic each season.

Each November and December, Lena dons her red velvet suit as Mrs. Claus to spread cheer through programs like Pancakes with Mr. & Mrs. Claus at Graves Elementary, holiday visits to Marietta Head Start, Toys for Tots giveaways, and even festive Mommy & Me Holiday Tea Parties. With candy canes, small ornaments, stocking stuffers, and a sleigh full of sparkle, these moments bring pure joy to children and families across Georgia.

But we can’t do it alone. With your support, we can fund more costumes, giveaways, and magical memories for more kids on the Nice List.

Veteran-Centric Initiatives

Lena S., a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and former Air Evac Medic of the 349th Contingency Hospital, knows that showing up at the table takes more than desire—it takes resources. The Strength & Sparkle Foundation is committed to helping women veterans attend life-changing conferences like V-WYSE (Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship) and the Military Influencer Conference (MIC)—incredible events that offer connection, community, and growth, but often come with high out-of-pocket costs.

From transportation and lodging to ticketed galas and networking fees, many of these opportunities are financially out of reach for those living on a fixed income or VA disability check. Your support helps us reduce those barriers—allowing Lena and her fellow sister veterans not only to attend, but to be seen, heard, and empowered where it matters most.
