🌻Sunflower ChariTEA Party at Arthur M. Blank Children’s Hospital🌻

On September 22, the newly founded Strength & Sparkle Foundation (the charitable arm of What’s Poppin’ USA) stepped into Arthur M. Blank Children’s Hospital in Atlanta for our 2nd year of hosting ChariTEA Parties for patients and their families.

If you haven’t seen it yet, The Zone at AMB is no ordinary playroom. Located on the first floor, it’s a dedicated hangout/game center where kids can learn, laugh, play, and escape the clinical side of hospital life. The Zone Backyard stretches the fun outdoors—mini golf, oversized musical instruments, basketball, even giant walls you can jump against. It’s one of the few corners in the hospital where kids get to just be kids.

We decorated our🌻sunflower fascinators—headbands loaded with tulle, fluff and bright sunflowers —in no particular order. We also decorated cupcakes 🧁with a ridiculous assortment of sprinkles and hand-whipped icing (thank you BFabulous Eats / Barbara Fabelo-Reynolds). The standout sprinkle? Candy eyeballs. 👀Runners-up: mini sunflowers and princess crowns. Olaf (the emotional support animal) even showed up to vibe with our sunflowers and spill the Tea.

We couldn’t take photos this year, because of staffing issues. But we had a blast. Moms got a much-needed break, dads jumped in on cupcake duty, and the kids went straight for the sprinkles. Candy eyeballs were the favorite, with sunflowers and princess crowns not far behind.

Shout out to our Sparkle Squad—Dani, Connie, Kendra, Barbara, Salina & Amy- We came. We sprinkled. We sparkled. And we’ll be back. 🌻✨
