Marketing can be a daunting task.
As a SMALL business owner, we wear ALL of the hats. We're payroll, manufacturing, finance, social media manager, secretary, travel agent, and yes, even the marketing department.
To make the marketing a little trek easier to understand, here are 4 steps to understanding the marketing funnel:
AWARENESS: And WHO are YOU??? Exactly? Consistency in posting and being visible to potential clients brings Awareness to your brand and business. They won't know about you if you don't tell anyone!
INTEREST: And what do you have that I want, exactly? This is where you show & tell your products and services, and generate an interest in what you offer. Don't worry. As long as you're speaking the right language to the right customers (your target market), an interest will be there..
DESIRE: Once they've seen you consistently and know what you are about and what you have to offer, the desire grows for more information. Potential clients will follow, like, subscribe and share your information, and may even browse your website or social media to learn more about your business offerings.
ACTION: They WILL come! Be consistent and be patient. They WILL show up! Show what you do and make them want to see more, know more and learn more. And after they've researched you for a bit, and probably actually sat by for a while again, just to make sure you're consistent and not going to close shop, THEN, and ONLY then will they take action.
It won't be immediate, overnight or even next month, but it WILL happen.
